How To Import An Audio File In CoHost’s Transcriptions Tool
For any new episodes you create, schedule, or publish on CoHost, they’ll populate automatically in your Transcription Library. And you can follow this tutorial on creating a transcription through your existing episodes or how to publish your transcription.
But if you have an episode or audio file that you’re looking to transcribe that’s not an existing episode, it’s easy to upload it to the transcription tool.
Import an audio file to CoHost’s transcription tool
Simply head to the “Transcriptions” dashboard in the search bar on the left. This will take you to your Transcription Library. From here, select “Add New Episode” in the top right.
Click “Upload” and select your audio file. The maximum file size is 300MB.
Add your episode details like:
- Title
- Episode type
- Season
- Episode number
- Description
- Explicity
- Content privacy
- Contributors
- Keywords
- Cover art
Once done, you can either publish your episode, schedule it, or save it as a draft. By saving your episode as a draft, you can still transcribe it without it going live yet.
And that’s it! Reach out to our team if you have any questions or run into any challenges.
