Discover how to schedule a podcast episode within your CoHost account.
1. Add a new episode
First, you’ll want to select “Add New Episode”, this button lives above every page within your CoHost account.
2. Add episode details
Once clicked, you’ll need to add your episode details.
This includes:
- Audio file*
- Episode title*
- Episode type (full, trailer, or bonus)*
- Season number
- Episode number
- Episode description & shownotes
- Whether it contains explicit content
- Whether you want to make the podcast private (hide it from your RSS feed)
- Keywords
- Contributors
- Episode-specific cover art
All elements with a “*” beside them mean that they’re required in order to schedule or publish an episode.
3. Schedule your episode
Once done adding episode details, scroll down to “Schedule for later” or “Publish now”. Select “Schedule for later” and you can select the date and time you’d like to schedule your episode.
Click “Schedule” when done selecting the time.
4. Review your episode
After scheduling your episode, you can head to “Episodes” in the menu on the left and select “Scheduled” in the tabs.
Here, you can see your scheduled episodes.
