CoHost's Demographic Data Collection

When your listener presses play on any listening app, our platform creates a record from our RSS feed. We collect the high level information given and use it to display our listening app breakdown, location, browser, IOS, demographic, and B2B analytics information.

For demographic information, we send a sample of the information we receive from our RSS feed to a demographic-specific database to it match to their data. Once the data has been matched, they send it to CoHost to display onto our demographic pages. The sample size we send to our database is determined by the most accurate sample total of your show's total audience size.

Privacy Disclaimers:

• All demographic data points calculated are based on the closest location that we are able to match to our RSS feed records. This means that the data presented is not based on the individual themselves, rather it is based on the individual's location data. This ensures that individual stays 100% anonymous.
• Our age and gender chart removes all data for listeners that are categorized as under 10. This is to ensure that we keep any information related to minors completely private, without sacrificing the quality of data we serve to our users.
