How To Add, Edit, Or Hide Podcast Directories On My CoHost Tracking Links

Looking to add, manage, or hide listening app directories on your CoHost Tracking Link? This guide is for you!

Luckily, it’s super easy to manage your tracking links whether you’re creating a new one or managing an existing one.

Step 1: Go to “Tracking Links”

In your side menu, select “Tracking Links”. This will take you to your link library:

Once here, you’ll see any existing tracking links you have. If you don’t have any links yet, no problem! You can also explore our guides on What Are Tracking Links and How to Use Tracking Links

Step 2: Select “Edit” or “Create tracking link”

If you want to edit the listening apps on an existing tracking link, click “Edit” beside the link you wish to edit.

If you want to create a new link, select “Create tracking link” at the top right corner.

Step 3: Edit Podcast Directories

Once you’ve clicked either “Edit” or “Create tracking link”, you’ll be brought here:

If you’re editing an existing link, your link information is already completed. If not, you’ll need to decide whether the link is for a specific episode or the entire show. Please note that once you select where you’ll be promoting the episode or show, you can’t change it.

We recommend naming your tracking links to describe what they are and where they’ll be promoted. For example, “EP1_Press Release” - and this link is promoted on your podcast press release. Or maybe “EP1_Social Media” and this link is promoted across channels like LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.

Once done, you’ll move on to step 2 which is “Add listening apps”. This is where you’ll be able to add, edit, or hide listening apps in your tracking links.

Adding Listening Apps

At the bottom of step 2, you’ll see the “Add more” button. Click this and a scroll will appear of all the different podcast listening apps you can add to your tracking link. Remember that you don’t want to give listeners too many options that it’s overwhelming for them to choose - so just select a few that you know most of your audience uses.
